Pay Range: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 a year.
By adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company.

PACT MSO has a busy Internal Medicine Group that is seeking a Practice Manager. The position is Monday through Friday. We currently have an opening in Milford.
The Managers oversees the operations, staff, and productivity for a division or department.
Essential Functions
- Lead and manage employees in the department or division
- Resolve complex issues that relate to patient, operations, and work flow.
- Resolves continued issues by creating and developing processes that adapt to changes
- Reviews and ensures that processes are update with current business demands. Creates and implements new processes to better the practice in all areas i.e. work flow, patient flow, billing, etc.
- Oversees facilities and staff. Creates trainings and standard operating procedures. Ensures staff is trained in daily operations and performs duties when necessary to maintain practice operations.
- Responsible for holding staff accountable, and providing them with training so they are capable of providing high quality patient care.
- Schedules staff to ensure each location has appropriate coverage, if applicable
- Manages physician schedules to ensure appropriate coverage of patients and hospitals, if applicable.
- Conducts and prepares monthly staff meetings
- Conducts and prepares monthly partner meetings.
- Reviews and approves employee time cards and ensures accuracy.
- Reviews monthly financial reports for accuracy before preparing monthly partner reports.
- Involved in preparing yearly financial budget and reviewing monthly to ensure maintaining budget.
- Performs daily close of copays – reconciles with EMR and makes weekly bank deposits.
- Reviews monthly A/R and addresses any variances.
- Approves and coordinates payables
- Provides yearly performance appraisals of all non-provider staff.
- Addresses and resolves all provider issues and concerns
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- High degree of initiative, judgment and discretion.
- Ability to lead and coach other staff members, while simultaneously functioning as member of a team. Proven ability to integrate priorities and deadlines.
- Must function well under pressure, with the ability to multitask, paying close attention to detail.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office and EMR software.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years Primary Care Medical Practice Management.
