Join Express Employment Professionals at our partner site with 3M in Red Wing, MN. You’ll step into a clean, bright, climate‑controlled facility and learn hands-on how to assemble safety equipment used worldwide. No prior manufacturing experience is required—just reliability, a willingness to learn, and a strong team mindset.

A day in this role

Your shift starts with a quick team huddle and work instructions. From there, you’ll rotate through tasks that keep the workday moving and engaging:

• Interpret straightforward blueprints and work instructions
• Assemble and secure components using hand tools and small equipment
• Sew product elements when needed (training provided; no sewing experience needed)
• Verify quality and product specs through routine checks
• Collaborate with a small, supportive team to meet production goals

Available schedules

1st Shift

• Monday–Thursday | 4:00am–2:30pm
• Monday–Thursday | 5:00am–3:30pm
• Monday–Thursday | 5:00am–2:30pm AND Friday | 5:00am–9:00am

2nd Shift

• Monday–Thursday | 3:30pm–2:00am
• Monday-Friday | 3:00pm - 11:00pm

3rd Shift

• Monday–Friday | 11:00pm–7:00am
• Tuesday–Friday | 8:30pm–7:00am

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to be on your feet and moving throughout the shift
• Comfort occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
• Six months or more of prior work experience (any industry)
• Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pre-employment screening

Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and coordination assessment

Work environment

• Must be able to commute to Red Wing, MN (not a remote role)
