Position OverviewThe Paid Search & Local SEO Support role is responsible for the hands‑on execution of paid search campaigns and local SEO initiatives. This position manages Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and Bing Ads campaigns alongside Google Business Profile optimization, local citation management, review management, and local SEO reporting — all working together to help TCMS clients generate qualified leads and maximize their local search visibility. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills across paid and organic local channels, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable campaign improvements.This role is accountable for delivering results across five key areas:1. Account Setup & MaintenanceEnsure all paid search accounts are properly configured, organized, and maintained according to TCMS standards and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate new Google Ads and Local Service Ads accounts or restructure existing accounts to conform to TCMS standardsSet up and configure Local Service Ads accounts, including verification and background check processesDevelop detailed ad profiles including business information, service areas, business hours, and services offeredPerform keyword research and develop keyword and negative keyword listsCreate ad groups and develop compelling ad copy aligned with client goalsBuild landing pages using Unbounce and/or WordPress Beaver Builder, or provide content specifications for the web teamSet up conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and/or WhatConverts, including form fills and call trackingTest and verify that all conversion tracking is functioning correctly with proper attributionMaintain organized, clean account structures that facilitate easy management and reportingSuccess MetricsAll new accounts set up within established timelines and meeting quality standardsConversion tracking verified and functioning correctly for 100% of accountsAccount structures follow TCMS naming conventions and organizational standardsAll required verification processes completed without delays2. Paid Search & Local SEO Analysis & ReportingAnalyze campaign and local SEO performance data and deliver clear, actionable reporting to support client success.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and use Google Analytics goals and funnels to track and analyze paid campaign performanceMonitor and analyze key paid search metrics including lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROASTrack and report on local SEO KPIs including GBP views, search impressions, direction requests, call clicks, and review ratingsWork with Agency Analytics to build, maintain, and refine monthly client reports covering both paid and local SEO performanceCreate and maintain analytics dashboards for all major metrics across paid and organic local channelsUse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement across both channelsProvide performance insights and recommendations to the Head of Paid SearchDocument campaign and optimization changes and their impact on performanceProactively flag underperforming campaigns, GBP listings, or accounts that need attentionSuccess MetricsMonthly reports delivered on schedule for all clients, covering both paid and local SEO performanceDashboards accurate and up-to-date at all timesPerformance trends and anomalies identified and communicated promptlyData-driven recommendations provided for both campaign optimization and local SEO improvementsIII. Required QualificationsEducation & Experience2+ years of hands‑on experience setting ad strategies, building Google Search Ads campaigns, and actively managing them, including making independent decisions and executing work, not just following checklists or implementing changes directed by others.Experience with Google Business Profile management and local SEO execution is strongly preferred.
