Why this role

  • Workweek: 4/10s — Wednesday to Saturday
  • Shifts: 2:00pm–12:30am or 10:00pm–8:30am
  • Pay: $25–$27 per hour
  • Shift Pay: +$1.00 (2nd shift) | +$2.00 (3rd shift)

Core impact

  • Diagnose and correct faults in engines, transmissions, braking, and electrical systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance: oil services, tire rotations, and fluid inspections.
  • Leverage diagnostic platforms and tools to validate issues and repairs.
  • Advise customers with clear, professional explanations and recommendations.
  • Uphold safety and efficiency through an orderly, well-maintained bay.
  • Keep pace with new automotive technologies and repair best practices.
  • Partner with teammates to streamline workflow and enhance service outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • High school diploma/equivalent; industry certifications a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience as an automotive mechanic/technician.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
  • Skill in operating diagnostic equipment and interpreting results.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with a service-oriented approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.

Working conditions

  • Lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Extended standing and walking; work may occur indoors/outdoors.
  • Frequent reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Crawling and crouching, sometimes in confined spaces.
  • Bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Climbing and operating at heights.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise.
  • Possible exposure to biohazards and/or chemicals and outdoor elements.
  • Ability to hear instructions and alarms.
  • Repetitive motion of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Visual capabilities: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
