Kforce is partnering with a client actively seeking a Power Platform Engineer to join their team in a hybrid capacity in Spring, TX. This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting enterprise-level solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform - translating business needs into secure, scalable applications, automated workflows, and data-driven insights. Responsibilities: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven):
  • Design and deliver Canvas and Model-Driven apps for complex business scenarios
  • Apply modern UI/UX patterns, responsive layouts, and performance optimization
  • Integrate with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, REST APIs, and external systems
  • Manage app lifecycle (ALM) - solution packaging, version control, and environment deployments
  • Enforce role-based access, environment governance, and DLP policies
Power Automate:
  • Build cloud flows, approval workflows, scheduled automations, and event-driven processes
  • Integrate across M365, Dynamics 365, Azure, APIs, and custom connectors
  • Implement error handling, retry logic, logging, and monitoring for critical flows
  • Optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Support RPA initiatives via Power Automate Desktop where applicable
Power BI:
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports for executive and operational visibility
  • Design and optimize data models, star schemas, and relationships
  • Author advanced DAX measures and calculated columns
  • Build data pipelines using Power Query (M), Dataverse, SQL, and Azure sources
  • Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain data governance
  • Manage Power BI Service workspaces, deployments, and report performance

Requirements:

  • Deep hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Strong proficiency in Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure integration
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and custom connectors
  • Advanced DAX authoring and Power Query (M) development
  • Knowledge of data modeling, star schemas, and table relationships
  • Experience with app lifecycle management (ALM), solution packaging, and environment deployments
  • Understanding of role-based security, DLP policies, and environment governance
  • Ability to design responsive, performant UI/UX in Canvas Apps
  • Experience implementing error handling, retry logic, and monitoring in Power Automate
  • Familiarity with Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance in Power BI
  • Exposure to Power Automate Desktop and RPA workflows is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 ecosystems
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills suited for a hybrid work environment
  • Experience working in enterprise settings with governance and compliance requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
