Job Summary:
The Power Platform Architect II will design, build, configure, and support cloud-based business solutions that solve practical problems for end users. This role focuses on understanding business needs, translating those needs into workable technical solutions, and developing applications, automations, integrations, dashboards, AI-enabled tools, and related cloud capabilities. The position partners with business users, IT, and operational teams to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions that improve workflows, reduce manual effort, strengthen data access, and make modern technology easier to use in day-to-day work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work directly with end users, business teams, and IT staff to understand business problems, document requirements, and design practical technical solutions.
· Build, configure, test, deploy, and support Microsoft Power Platform and other cloud-based solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, and other cloud services.
· Develop applications, automations, integrations, dashboards, reports, and AI-enabled tools that improve workflows, reduce manual effort, and support better business decisions.
· Translate user feedback into solution improvements, enhancements, fixes, and support documentation.
· Apply established security, governance, identity, data protection, and lifecycle management standards while building and maintaining solutions.
· Troubleshoot solution issues, monitor performance, resolve defects, and improve reliability and usability over time.
· Create clear technical documentation, user guides, training materials, and support procedures for delivered solutions.
· Stay current with cloud capabilities and apply new features where they solve a real business need.
· Gather requirements, map current processes, identify pain points, and recommend practical solution options.
· Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Copilot Studio agents, data models, reports, integrations, scripts, connectors, and other cloud-based tools.
· Test solutions with end users, incorporate feedback, and ensure delivered tools are usable, reliable, and aligned with the business need.
· Maintain documentation for solution design, data sources, integrations, support procedures, user instructions, and ongoing maintenance needs.
· Coordinate with IT security, data, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure solutions are secure, supportable, and properly integrated.
· Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, training, and knowledge transfer for business users and internal IT staff.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 8+ years of experience designing, building, supporting, or improving Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, automation, data, or related cloud-based business solutions.
· Hands-on proficiency with Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Teams, and related Microsoft 365 or Azure services.
· Ability to work with end users to understand needs, clarify requirements, explain options, and deliver practical solutions.
· Strong understanding of solution design, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, integrations, security considerations, and lifecycle management.
· Desire to be a continual learner with the ability to apply emerging Microsoft cloud capabilities to real business problems.
· Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and customer support skills.
Preferences:
· Experience building Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse solutions, Copilot Studio agents, reports, integrations, or automation tools in a business environment.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, APIs, connectors, scripting, SQL, data modeling, or automation tools used to connect business systems.
· Experience working directly with business users to improve processes, replace manual work, or create tools that support daily operations.
· Participation in Microsoft, Power Platform, Azure, automation, AI, or data training programs, communities, or professional networks.
Competencies
Knowledge:
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and other cloud services.
· Ability to apply solution design, security, data, integration, testing, documentation, and support practices to practical business solutions.
Hours and Travel
This position is full-time and may require occasional travel to other office locations for training or support purposes.

Hours and Travel:
This position requires the individual work 40 hours per week with occasional travel outside the office.
