Our client is seeking a Power Plant Construction Manager to lead field operations on a major power generation project in the Southwest Iowa. This individual will serve as the senior on-site construction leader, overseeing project execution, workforce coordination, subcontractor management, safety performance, and overall project delivery from the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all field construction activities while promoting a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence
- Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor performance to support successful project delivery
- Provide leadership and direction to field supervision, safety personnel, quality representatives, and support staff
- Coordinate construction activities across multiple disciplines while proactively resolving field issues and maintaining productivity
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- Proven experience leading large-scale power generation, utility, industrial, or heavy construction projects in a field leadership role
- Strong background managing subcontractors, construction schedules, budgets, and field operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams in fast-paced construction environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
