Job Title: Power Generation Technician
Location: Midland, Texas

Compensation: $37 hourly (+/-)
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
Power Generation Technician Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems using CAT ET and related software.
- Interpret wiring schematics and technical manuals to service control hardware and instrumentation.
- Document all work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, including PPE use and safe driving practices.
- Maintain company property and equipment in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with operators and technicians to minimize downtime and prioritize workload.
- Prioritize workload effectively to avoid equipment failure and unplanned downtime.
- Must be safety conscious and willing to use stop work authority when necessary.
- Perform general housekeeping and routine maintenance of company property, including service vehicle and trailer.
Power Generation Technician Requirements - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with CAT G3520 engines and Solar SMT60 turbines.
- Proficiency in CAT ET and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of natural gas engines, turbines, control systems, and network protocols.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physically able to work in varied conditions and operate vehicles safely.
