Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data visualization best practices, and experience working with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports.
Connect to various data sources, import data, and transform it using Power Query and DAX.
Collaborate with business users to gather and understand reporting requirements.
Develop and publish reports to the Power BI Service and manage user access and security.
Optimize data models and dashboards for performance and scalability.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Provide training and support to end users on Power BI capabilities and usage.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft BI stack improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Power BI development or a similar BI role.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other components of the Microsoft Power Platform.
Ability to work with stakeholders at various levels and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL Database).
Familiarity with Python or R for data analytics.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
