Pouching Line Lead – Swing Shift

Ferndale, WA

Full-Time | $22+ /hr DOE


We are seeking an experienced Pouching Line Lead to oversee daily operations on our packaging line while actively operating and troubleshooting pouching equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands production flow, machine operation, and team coordination. The ideal candidate has prior experience running automated pouching or packaging machinery and can confidently lead a small production crew while keeping quality, efficiency, and safety standards on track.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support a team of 4–6 production associates on the new swing shift pouching line
  • Set up, operate, adjust, and monitor automated pouching/packaging machinery
  • Calibrate film alignment, load and change film rolls, and ensure proper machine setup for production runs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical adjustments to minimize downtime
  • Maintain production flow while ensuring product quality and packaging standards are met
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the production process
  • Coordinate line changeovers and communicate production needs with supervisors and maintenance teams
  • Train and mentor line associates on procedures, safety, and production expectations
  • Complete production documentation and reporting accurately
  • Maintain GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards throughout the shift


Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating pouching, packaging, or automated production machinery REQUIRED
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making machine adjustments
  • Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a production environment strongly preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify operational issues quickly
  • Experience working in food manufacturing or GMP environments preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
