The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Arts & Sciences at Syracuse University is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in Speech Language Pathology in the areas of Voice Production/Voice Disorders. The postdoctoral researcher will play a key role in designing, implementing, and analyzing data from behavioral research studies. The postdoctoral researcher will aid in the following:
- Recruitment of participants and data collection following IRB-approved protocols for voice production research.
- Data processing.
- Acoustic analyses of voice.
- Statistical analyses.
- Write manuscripts and grants.
This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. completed by May 2026
- Research experience with voice production
Job Specific Qualifications
- Knowledge of voice recording/assessment tools.
- Experience with human subjects research, particularly with recording voice samples.
- Familiarity with acoustic analysis of voice.
- Prior experience with grant writing and manuscript preparation.
