We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Chicago, IL, to join an interdisciplinary team focused on inflammation models.
- Develop and characterize animal models of acute and chronic inflammation, especially in neural, periodontal, and musculoskeletal tissues.
- Apply molecular biology techniques to analyze inflammatory processes.
- Collaborate across disciplines, including engineering and clinical translation, to advance research and technology development.
- Disseminate findings through publications, preprints, and open-source platforms.
- Contribute hands-on to innovative research in inflammation biology, designing studies related to nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
Qualifications: PhD, MD, or DVM with 2+ years of animal model and molecular biology experience; collaborative mindset and strong communication skills. Preferred experience includes neural, periodontal, or musculoskeletal systems, immunology, and mass spectrometry-based omics.
