Job Description:

The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for the preparation, characterization, and evaluation of new photosensitizers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in chemistry or medicinal chemistry or a related field
  • Ph.D. degree in chemistry or medicinal chemistry
  • Experience in the synthesis and characterization of organic compounds
  • Experience in the use of NMR spectroscopy
  • Experience in the application of organic synthesis methodology to design synthetic routes
  • Knowledge of, and/or experience with, cytotoxicity assays preferred
  • Must be able to write scientific reports
  • Must be able to prepare Power Point presentations and give oral presentations
