Organization Information The mission of Russell County Schools is to increase each student's academic and social achievement to a proficient or higher level. The driving force is evident by student's scoring proficient or above & out scores the State's average. RC schools has been recognized for its excellence in academic and extracurricular activities. UCES overall KCCT Test Scores rank 15th in the State; Agriculture programs top 10 statewide in KOSSA testing; Girls golf placed 10th in State; Band placed in State Finals 2011; RC is noted top 10 of Ky 21st CCLC after school programs; and SES Honorable Mention on TELL(Teaching, Empowering, Leading, and Learning)Survey. Postsecondary and adult ed. classes are offer through the collaboration with Somerset Community, Lindsey Wilson, Eastern KY Univ. and Campbellsville Univ. These activities will collectively provide opportunities for the students of Russell County to be successful productive citizens. Vacancy ID 20252026 - 10353 Position Category District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) Title POSITION: District Assessment Coordinator POSTING DATE: June 24, 2026 SUPERVISOR: Superintendent Must hold Master's Degree and/or Rank I. Five (5) years of teaching experience and/or relevant administrative experience. Valid KY Certification Description as a Superintendent, Supervisor of Instruction, or Principal. •Serve as the primary contact between the district and the state assessment and accountability program. •Ensure the secure transfer of testing materials and resulting data from KDE or test vendor. •Training of all school personnel who will have access to secure test materials. •Distribute test results to the Superintendent/Principals/BAC. •Attend assessment and accountability meetings and trainings. •Directs and interprets district student assessment program as related to assessment. •Identification of innovative assessment programs, manages purchasing/order process. •Coordinates and facilitates the implementation of School and District Report Cards •Assists/coaches teachers in integrating formative assessment practices in schools and individual classrooms. •Oversee certified and classified personnel processes, including recruitment, job postings, applicant screening, hiring, and personnel records. Comments Maintain communication with the EPSB regarding certification/ licensure/personnel matters. •Serve as the district liaison with colleges and universities to coordinate student teacher placements, field experiences and internships. •SBDM Coordinator •Provide guidance and technical assistance to administrators and staff regarding personnel. •Performs other duties as assigned.
