Our high-volume pediatric office in Coconut Creek is seeking an experienced Portuguese-speaking Front Desk Assistant to support daily operations and ensure efficient patient flow.
This role is best suited for candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing high call volume, and multitasking throughout the day.
Pay is based on experience, with higher rates offered to candidates with strong medical front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in/out 80–100+ patients daily in a professional and efficient manner.
- Manage high-volume phone lines while assisting patients in person.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments accurately.
- Verify insurance eligibility and update patient demographics.
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
- Scan and manage documentation within EMR system.
- Support front office workflow and assist team as needed
Requirements (Please apply only if you meet ALL of the below):
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (required)
- A minimum of 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office
- Comfortable handling high patient volume and multitasking Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic knowledge of insurance verification and copay collection
Preferred:
- Pediatric office experience
- Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus)
