The Portfolio Transaction Specialist plays a key role in supporting portfolio managers and investment teams by managing and executing investment transactions, maintaining accurate portfolio records, and ensuring operational efficiency across the portfolio lifecycle.
The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple investment processes while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.
Support execution and settlement of portfolio transactions, including purchases, sales, and transfers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of portfolio positions and investment activity
Assist with cash flow tracking, P&L reporting, and reconciliation of portfolio accounts
Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and data for investment and portfolio teams
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and transaction procedures
Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and external counterparties to facilitate smooth transaction processing
Identify and report operational risks, inefficiencies, or discrepancies
Produce daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports for portfolio managers and senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Knowledge of investment operations, portfolio management, or transaction processing
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with investment systems, reporting tools, or workflow software is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in portfolio operations, investment transactions, and financial reporting
