The Portfolio Manager supports the commercial lending team by managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring credit quality, risk management, and strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary contact for existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Conducting regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments.
- Analyzing financial statements, preparing credit memos, and recommending loan actions.
- Supporting new business opportunities with documentation and coordination.
- Monitoring loan performance and identifying credit or compliance issues.
- Collaborating with credit analysts and loan operations for smooth processing.
- Participating in community activities and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Performing other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in commercial banking or credit analysis, strong financial knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software is required.
