Portfolio Insights Specialists support investment and portfolio management teams by providing actionable insights, analyzing portfolio-level metrics, and generating reports to guide strategic decisions. The role combines quantitative analysis, data visualization, and performance monitoring to help teams optimize portfolio outcomes and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
This position involves close collaboration with portfolio managers, finance teams, risk management, and investor relations to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful insights.
Analyze portfolio performance across multiple asset classes and strategies, including risk-adjusted returns, attribution, and trend analysis
Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for portfolio insights
Track and monitor key performance metrics, exposures, and capital allocations
Reconcile and validate portfolio data from multiple internal and external sources
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc portfolio reports for management, investors, and other stakeholders
Support scenario analysis, stress testing, and forecasting to assess portfolio performance under varying conditions
Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities in portfolio performance to inform decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline portfolio reporting and analytics processes
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong understanding of portfolio management, investment performance metrics, and financial reporting
Experience or coursework in portfolio analytics, investment accounting, or performance attribution (preferred but not required)
Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SQL, or VBA is a plus
Ability to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in investment performance, portfolio insights, and data-driven decision-making
