Pay: $33.33 per hour
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday

As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst, you'll be instrumental in managing asset data, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting investment operations. Working closely with the Operations team, you'll help deliver precise account reconciliations and timely transaction processing, contributing to the company's operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Managing and updating asset profiles within trust accounting systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Reconciling trust reporting databases with other application systems to verify data consistency.
Performing daily cash receipting, wiring, and investment transactions, guaranteeing prompt and accurate processing.
Journalizing and reconciling daily cash flows and investment activities to maintain precise financial records.
Communicating effectively with the Operations team to facilitate bond and loan settlements.
Reviewing and resolving overdrawn accounts, addressing discrepancies swiftly.
Responding professionally to bondholder inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
Inputting data precisely into financial systems to support reporting and compliance efforts.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Familiarity with structured credit products and investment operations.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel (formulas, modeling).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with 3 on-site days per week in Santa Ana.
Flexibility to work overtime as workload demands increase.
