About the Role

As a CBRE Custodian, you will perform essential maintenance tasks, including housekeeping, occupancy, and custodial duties. This position is part of our Workplace Experience function, where our team is dedicated to providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of our facility. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Winslow, ME in a production R&D regulated environment.

What You'll Do

  • General Cleaning: Maintain the facility by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors, as well as cleaning rugs and carpets.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are cleaned, disinfected, and fully restocked with supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
  • Waste Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring all waste is transported to the correct disposal areas.
  • Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, desks, and kitchen/dining areas to maintain health and safety standards.
  • Building Maintenance: Keep windows, glass partitions, and mirrors clean and streak-free.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift items up to 40lbs, climb ladders, and stand or walk for long periods.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Chemicals: Understanding of how to mix and safely use various cleaning agents and disinfectants.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard.
  • Documentation: Ability to accurately document completed cleaning tasks on regulated documents (essential for pharmaceutical compliance).
  • Communication: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate maintenance needs effectively.
  • Reliability: Ability to follow schedules and work with minimal supervision.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

The compensation hourly range is about $18-22/hr annual depending on experience.
