The property has been a cherished destination for generations and has recently undergone a number of renovations and enhancements that are helping elevate the brand and overall experience. The Tides features 70 luxurious accommodations, tennis and pickleball courts, wellness treatments, a working farm, Makers Space (for artistic activities), its own marina, and two distinct restaurants, Salt & Meadow Restaurant and Fish Hawk Oyster Bar. Position Summary
The Pool Host & Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the pool and beach areas while delivering exceptional guest service. This role helps create a memorable resort experience by ensuring guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area, including daily skimming and routine upkeep.
Keep the pool deck clean, organized, and guest-ready by:
Straightening lounge chairs
Collecting and disposing of trash
Removing used towels
Emptying ashtrays and other receptacles as needed
Place rolled towels on unoccupied lounge chairs to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the beach area, ensuring it remains free of trash, food service items, beach toys, and other debris.
Provide complimentary water service to guests and replenish beverages as needed to support a full-service poolside experience.
Keep the towel station fully stocked and organized, removing used towels throughout the day.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Perform routine cleaning tasks using approved resort cleaning products and procedures.
Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with unexpected cleaning needs or spills.
Remove and replace garbage bags from pool and beach areas as necessary.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
