Polymer Extrusion Line Technician
Location: Anderson
Schedule: Nights, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., Monday–Friday
Compensation: $18–$21 per hour
Employment Type: Direct hire
A day on the line
When your shift starts at 10 p.m., you’ll step onto a clean, organized production floor and take ownership of a plastic extrusion line. You’ll run start-up checks, verify materials, and bring the line up to speed. As production flows, you’ll monitor settings, perform quality inspections, and keep documentation tidy and accurate. Finished product? You’ll package it precisely for outgoing shipments and stage it for pickup. Throughout the night, you’ll keep the area spotless and safe—then complete a careful handoff at 6 a.m.
What you’ll do
- Operate and monitor a plastic extrusion line to meet quality and throughput targets
- Conduct routine quality inspections and record results
- Pack and prepare finished goods for shipment
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
What you bring
- Excellent job tenure/work history and an outstanding attendance record
- Previous plastics extrusion experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and work at heights
- Self-directed work style; comfortable operating without constant supervision
