Job Description:
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginias capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach day and evening classes in Political Science.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Masters degree in political science or related field • Masters degree with 18 graduate semester hours in political science
Additional Considerations:
• Community college teaching experience • Experience with online teaching, including online synchronous classes • Availability to teach on-campus classes • Experience with Canvas and Zoom • Strong written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated ability to place a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and provide an innovative e-learning experience • Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
