University Integrity and Compliance supports the University of North Texas’s commitment to ethical, lawful, and transparent operations by administering a risk-based compliance and ethics program. The department provides guidance, training, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms to help ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, Regents’ Rules, and university policies, while partnering with campus and system stakeholders to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible decision-making across the institution.
Position Overview
This position manages the University policy program. This includes daily management and process reviews of the University Policy Manual (UPM) website and the System policy repository. Daily tasks would include conducting end-to-end policy reviews according to the 6-year policy review cycle triaging policy issues, maintenance processes, and assisting with setting the strategic direction of the policy program under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). This position collaborates with the University community on various policy matters, including establishing and maintaining relationships with various UNT offices, providing education and assistance as needed, policy benchmarking with outside organizations, and providing guidance on emerging policy trends.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public policy, business administration, communications, or a related field, and five years of professional policy development, management, or coordination, or equivalent experience.

Effectiveness in collaborating and building relationships with key stakeholders;
Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and teamwork across organizational levels and boundaries;
Ability to deliver information effectively in a variety of settings including one on one, team settings, presentations, and various written forms such as letters, memos, analytical reports, and decision documents;
Ability to research, evaluate and analyze complex or conflicting data/information, develop valid conclusions and recommendations, and prepare clear and concise written reports on complex subject matter;
Ability to analyze complex data and prepare concise reports;
Ability to learn and use multiple software platforms;
Proficiency with windows based email and other standard office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, project and policy management software, and similar programs.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess one or more of the following additional qualifications: Direct experience managing a policy program including policy and training development, and procedure documentation designed for end users. Technical writing experience. Legal experience.
