Police Officers, among other duties, enforce all laws and ordinances for which the Department is responsible, protect the lives and property of all persons; and maintain peace and order within the Boroughs of Swissvale and Braddock Hills in eastern Allegheny County.
Full-time, entry level Police Patrol Officer for the Swissvale - Braddock Hills Regional Police Department. Must be Act 120 Certified at the time of hire and in good standing with the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC).
The Swissvale - Braddock Hills Regional Police Department was formed on January 1, 202 to serve the Borough's of Swissvale and Braddock Hills which are located in the eastern suburbs of Allegheny County. The total patrol area is approximately 2.5 miles with a population of around 10,000 residents between the two communities.
