Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Draft Plumbing construction drawings including details, plans, and sections
Perform Plumbing-related calculations
Design Plumbing systems for various building types
Select appropriate Plumbing equipment
Coordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during design
Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
Participate in developing details, equipment schedules, and specifications
Research and assess building performance and other regulations
Contribute to design discussions and carry design concepts through to project drawings
Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
Minimum 8 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
PE license not required but a plus
AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
