Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Pay Range: $24/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a PLP Modification Documentation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in loan documentation, credit operations, lending, or underwriting support and a proven ability to prepare accurate, compliant loan modification documentation and manage a high-volume pipeline while ensuring an effective client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Review approved credit requests to understand transaction structure, terms, covenants, and credit support requirements.
  • Interpret Professional Loan Program requirements and ensure documentation aligns with approved terms and internal standards.
  • Verify pre-closing conditions, controls, and due diligence, including KYC and FinCEN requirements.
  • Prepare accurate loan modification documentation packages per legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Conduct quality reviews of peer-prepared documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Deliver modification packages to clients for execution or notification and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure modification terms are reflected in loan systems and records.
  • Partner with Underwriting/Credit, Compliance, Legal, and PLP Lending/Sales to resolve issues and enhance client experience.
  • Manage an individual pipeline, provide status updates, and escalate issues or risks as appropriate.
  • Monitor and respond to team inbox requests within service expectations.
  • Support training, knowledge sharing, and process documentation to strengthen team capability.
  • Identify and communicate process gaps, training needs, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Experience in loan documentation, credit operations, lending, underwriting support, or related financial services roles.
  • Ability to interpret credit approvals, legal documentation, and operational requirements with accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of KYC and FinCEN due diligence requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with loan modification preparation within a Professional Loan Program or similar product set.
  • Familiarity with internal lending and workflow systems.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Onsite in Columbus, OH. Full time in office.
  • Typical business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime may be required as needed.
  • Interview process: One round via Zoom with a minimum of two interviewers.
  • Open to recent graduates. Degree preferred.
  • Not eligible for employer-sponsored immigration support.
