MAU is hiring a Platform Supervisor in Beech Island SC.

As a Platform Supervisor, you will lead MAU associates at a client facility to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives while developing team performance and maintaining operational excellence.

Required Education and Experience

Essential Functions

  • Supervise MAU staff assigned to specific platform assets during rotating shift operations
  • Coordinate flow-to-work scheduling based on production needs
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure processes meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) standards
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manage raw materials with critical process variables requiring strict control
  • Provide leadership to MAU associates within the platform and across the mill
  • Sustain and support Leader Standard Work
  • Assist with conflict resolution between employees and customer personnel
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to MAU associates
  • Address on-shift safety issues, injuries, and property damage incidents
  • Complete personnel incident reporting and maintain security compliance
  • Coordinate post-accident reports and drug screens
  • Supervise platform operations with safety as the top priority
  • Control operational costs and manage workforce utilization to support profitability
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Investigate material damage and shortages
  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards, dress code policies, and MAU procedures
  • Update communication boards and address critical issues
  • Conduct employee attendance counseling
  • Maintain payroll records using KRONOS
  • Participate in simple problem-solving initiatives
  • Operate lift trucks when necessary to support operations

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work environments include administrative areas, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse settings
  • Exposure to process manufacturing equipment and industrial vehicles
  • Conditions may include non-air-conditioned environments with hot or cold temperatures
  • Some areas may require GMP clean room compliance

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk up to 8 miles per day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

Travel

  • Occasional travel required, typically less than 25 miles per month
