Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Platform Architect for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. The ideal candidate will support enterprise laboratory informatics by designing, administering, and optimizing Waters Empower CDS across global, cloud‑enabled environments.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Platform Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Design, configure, and administer enterprise‑level Waters Empower CDS environments across global laboratory infrastructures.
Lead Empower system upgrades, decommission legacy versions, and manage DAC, user roles, and system configurations.
Develop, validate, and maintain custom fields, report methods, and audit trail analysis in compliance with GxP standards.
Troubleshoot complex lab informatics issues across chromatography systems, interfaces, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
Support integrations between Empower, LIMS/SDMS, and laboratory instruments while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Provide technical leadership, infrastructure planning, and solution scoping to support analytical laboratory operations and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Analytical Sciences, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
6-8 years of experience supporting laboratory informatics or Empower CDS environments.
Strong hands‑on expertise with Waters Empower Enterprise architecture, configuration, administration, upgrades, and GxP validation.
Solid understanding of chromatography systems and lab integrations (LIMS, instruments, networks, cloud/AWS) with proven troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
