Plastics Process Specialist-Plastics

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Plastics Process Specialist to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility to work on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. Complete minor machines and mold repairAssist Maintenance technicians with machine and mold repairsTroubleshoot problemsComplete mold changeoversSet-up and process injection molding machinesProvide direction to operators regarding daily schedules and machine rotations to operate the department effectivelyProvide the Plastic's Lean Process Manager with regular updates regarding anything related to the performance of the department on the specific shiftComplete daily shift reportsMake decisions regarding quality and other departmental decisions (including knowing when to contact the Lean Process Manager)Complete shift reports, SPC charts, skid tags, box tags, and production out sheetsParticipate in 6s activities

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Value Added Skills:

Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not requiredTeam playerComputer knowledgeWillingness to learnAbility to train on any shiftPositive Attitude

Physical Requirements:

Working in areas where it can get warmWorking in a smoke free environmentActivities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bendingAbility to lift up to 50lbsWillingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

This is a 2nd Shift positionHours are 3pm-11pm Monday-FridayShift premium of $2.00/hourOvertime during busy season
