What You’ll Do- Provide inpatient patient care in plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Conduct H&Ps, create and update plan of care, and evaluate progress over time
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- Order medications and write prescriptions as clinically appropriate
- Manage therapeutic interventions and ensure ongoing clinical reassessment
- Perform bedside procedures as appropriate to scope
- Coordinate care within the hospital setting to support effective treatment and outcomes
What You Need
Required
- Board certification (required)
- MA state license (Massachusetts)
- 1–2 years of experience in inpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Ability to independently manage patient care activities (H&Ps, orders, assessments, and care planning)
Preferred
- Familiarity working in a hospital setting and managing inpatient surgical patients
- Experience charting in an electronic medical record (EMR), such as Epic (preferred)
About the Assignment
This is a hospital-based inpatient role supporting plastic and reconstructive surgery patient care with a steady, weekday schedule. The average daily census is approximately 10 adult patients, and the position will include full patient care responsibilities such as assessments, ordering/interpretation of diagnostics, medication management, bedside procedures as appropriate, and ongoing evaluation.
