Are you the leader who keeps complex plants humming?

Can you coordinate a flawless shutdown, stand up a training plan that levels up a maintenance team, and own capital projects in the $500k–$3M range—all while partnering seamlessly with engineering? If that sounds like you, this permanent, full-time role in the Louisville, KY area could be your next step.

Imagine This

You walk into the plant, meet briefly with engineering, and green-light a corrective action that safeguards a bottleneck asset. By midday, you’re reviewing vendor proposals for a $1.2M upgrade, and by late afternoon, you’re coaching a technician through a new reliability standard—closing the loop on yesterday’s RCI and preparing the team for an upcoming turnaround.

What You’ll Lead

  • Maintenance management for all line equipment with a focus on reliability and uptime.
  • Development of maintenance performance metrics and a robust training program.
  • Implementation of corrective actions that lock in machine reliability improvements.
  • Ownership of CapEx initiatives from $500k to $3M—planning, execution, and commissioning.
  • Strategy and execution for plant shutdowns/turnarounds with cross-functional partners.
  • Tight collaboration with engineering and other groups to align resources and schedules.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven success overseeing multimillion CapEx projects ($500k–$3M).
  • Experience planning and running shutdown events.

Bonus Points

  • Lean and continuous improvement background.
  • Experience leading RCI’s.

How You Work

  • Persuasive communicator who builds strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Hands-on coach and team player with a bias for action.
  • Structured problem solver with a reliability-first mindset.
