Build a High-Performance Operation

Join Plant 3 to own the metal encapsulation and wrap manufacturing value stream. Your mission: deliver safe, compliant, and efficient output while elevating people, process, and performance to world‑class standards.

Your Impact

  • Achieve SQDC outcomes through disciplined daily management, transparent metrics, and decisive leadership.
  • Create capability: hire, schedule, cross-train, and coach teams; complete evaluations and development plans.
  • Stabilize and improve processes across wrap lines, encapsulation, material handling, curing, and finishing with standardized work and visual management.
  • Advance IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 compliance through robust control plans, traceability, and environmental stewardship.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute to customer demand: protect takt, meet schedule attainment, and sustain delivery performance.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to keep materials flowing and equipment ready (including PM scheduling).
  • Lead daily Gemba walks, tier meetings, and huddles to surface problems early and act fast.
  • Measure what matters: OEE, scrap, throughput, labor efficiency, safety, and customer delivery; maintain ERP/MES accuracy and visual boards.
  • Attack waste using Lean tools—5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, TPM, Poka‑Yoke—and close gaps with 5 Why, Fishbone, and A3.
  • Reduce costs via material yield optimization and right-sized labor; build ROI cases for capital investments.

Safety, Environment, and Quality First

  • Model safe behaviors and compliance with PPE, LOTO, machine guarding, and chemical handling protocols; drive audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain ISO 14001 systems covering waste handling, emissions, and hazardous materials; ensure ergonomic workstations and 5S discipline.
  • Partner with Quality to resolve nonconformances, CAPAs, SCARs, deviations, and customer complaints; verify first-piece, in-process, and final audit requirements.
  • Track key quality metrics including scrap, rework, dimensional accuracy, metal wrap integrity, and bonding performance.

New Products & Change Control

  • Lead change management and training before go‑live; own controlled revisions and process updates.
  • Execute APQP deliverables (PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, PPAP), plus trials, capability studies, and validations.

Culture & Collaboration

  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and open communication; be the hub between production, leadership, and support groups.
  • Recognize and channel employee ideas into tangible improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven Lean Manufacturing leadership with continuous improvement execution.
  • Expertise in 5 Why root cause analysis.
  • Strong APQP background and PPAP delivery.
  • Operational metrics & KPI management proficiency.
  • Production planning & scheduling experience.
  • Hands-on ISO 14001 experience within an IATF 16949 environment.
