What you will own

  • Daily performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement that reduce waste and boost throughput
  • Cross-functional alignment for process and product upgrades
  • Maintenance strategies that keep assets reliable and available

How you will deliver results

  • Set strategic direction and provide day-to-day plant leadership
  • Build a high-performing leadership team and drive accountability
  • Manage operating plans, budgets, and long-range improvement initiatives
  • Deploy root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects
  • Strengthen quality systems and tighten process controls

Safety & compliance focus

  • Maintain strict adherence to Cal/OSHA, OSHA, and environmental regulations
  • Promote a prevention-first safety culture with clear ownership and follow-through
  • Ensure compliance with California labor laws, documentation, and training

People & culture

  • Hire, develop, and retain a capable, engaged workforce
  • Coach leaders, provide feedback, and manage performance rigorously
  • Nurture an inclusive, respectful, and accountable workplace

Financial & data

  • Full P&L ownership for the site
  • Use KPIs and analytics to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 7–10+ years of manufacturing leadership
  • Demonstrated success managing plant operations with P&L responsibility
  • Experience in high-volume or assembly-based environments
  • Strong command of lean and continuous improvement
  • ERP proficiency and fluency with manufacturing metrics
  • Working knowledge of California employment and safety regulations

Preferred

  • Background in building products, component manufacturing, or similar sectors
  • OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or APICS certifications

Work environment & physical demands

  • Office and manufacturing settings; routine presence on the production floor
  • Exposure to moving equipment, noise, and changing temperatures
  • PPE required at all times in designated areas
  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual work; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
