The Plant Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for the Machine Shop, Assembly, Warehouse, Production Planning, and Tooling Operations departments. This role is responsible for ensuring that all production activities operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while meeting quality, delivery, and budget expectations. The Plant Manager partners closely with department leaders to establish performance targets, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement across all production operations.

Job Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight across all production departments, including Machine Shop, Assembly, Warehouse, Planning, and Tooling Operations.
Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery and operational goals.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Evaluate employee and departmental performance and implement corrective actions or improvement plans as needed.
Partner with departmental managers to plan work center schedules and manpower requirements.
Manage human and material resources to meet production targets and business objectives.
Analyze production and quality data to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Maintain visibility into shop orders and on-time delivery of products.
Drive efficiency and productivity across production teams.
Review and revise process flows and layouts to improve efficiency and reduce material handling.
Review process documentation, including Product Change Requests (PCRs), and control document distribution.
Prepare, review, and maintain key production reports, including efficiency, performance, lead time, and variance reports.
Troubleshoot operational issues and support structured problem-solving efforts.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Develop, own, and manage the annual production plan and budget for all production departments.
Ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained to support efficient production.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in a directly related manufacturing or production leadership role
7+ years of people management experience
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred fields of study: Business, Management, Engineering, or Industrial Technology
Strong knowledge of business, finance, and management principles
Working knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles
Experience with CNC machining and general assembly operations preferred
Strong understanding of quality systems and production controls preferred
Knowledge of machine shop and assembly operations preferred
Experience with process improvement methodologies preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Advanced Excel skills preferred
ERP system experience preferred (SAP experience a plus)

Job Requirements
Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
Willingness and ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Domestic and international travel up to 15%, including occasional overnight travel
Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
