Position Description:

Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations in each department at said location.  Plant Manager will ensure that safety, production goals, quality assurance and customer satisfaction requirements are achieved.  Plant Manager will provide leadership roles in kit, XLR8, Cleanroom, Warehouse and Customer Services departments and maintain an efficient manufacturing environment.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all plant operations.
  • Working with department leaders to accomplish production goals.
  • Forecasting and planning production.
  • Meeting customers’ expectations, delivery schedules and product satisfaction.
  • Monitor and improve plant performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales and purchasing departments to optimize production processes and inventory management.
  • Maintain regulatory, OSHA and company policies. 
  • Foster accountability, teamwork, teambuilding and operational excellence throughout all departments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
  • 5 plus years of experience in operation management, plant manufacturing, upper management or leadership role.
  • Knowledge and experience of manufacture audit requirements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management and systems maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple high priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving skills.
  • Software application knowledge: SAP or ERP (Visual), Microsoft Office, Excel and Six Sigma system.
