Plant Manager
Pay Range: $90,000 - $140,000, DOE + Benefits + Performance Bonus
Location: Pueblo, CO

How you'll spend your time as a Plant Manager:
- Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day manufacturing activities to hit production targets safely and efficiently based on production schedules and customer demands.
- Recruit, train, coach, and hold departmental supervisors and shift workers accountable.
- Assure cross training of staff.
- Foster a safety-first culture and ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety meetings with employees to educate on a variety of topics and encourage safe practices.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards.
- Manage the site operating budget, review capital expenditures, and control labor and material costs.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to minimize equipment downtime and reduce process waste.
- Partner with the maintenance team to manage equipment reliability and safety
- Maintain a process that ensures raw material inventory levels are efficient to keep production flowing properly.
- Monitor and react to sales trends to assure proper finished goods inventory levels meet customer needs
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Plant Manager:
- 2+ years of operational leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S principles.
- Proficient with understanding and building Excel worksheets
- Proven ability to manage, resolve conflicts, and build trusting relationships with a diverse workforce. Must lead by example.
- Excellent verbal and written skills to report key business metrics to corporate executives.
- Hands on leader who is willing to jump in and get your hands dirty.
- Construction materials manufacturing experience preferred.
- Spanish helpful, but not mandatory.
