Excellent opportunity for a leader with plant management experience. This role is with a long standing manufacturing business that is growing and is a leader in its industry globally.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning, managing, and directing all manufacturing, plant engineering, customer service, and materials management functions at the high-volume automation plant. • Accountable for meeting plant, division, and corporate goals and objectives in alignment with established policies and procedures. • Ensure safe and efficient operations across all functional areas. • Satisfy customer requirements while maintaining profitability. • Automate system optimization by overseeing continuous improvement including robotics to enhance production and efficiencies. • Lead cross-functional teams in a high-volume automation system that align with production goals. • Drive operation efficiencies by minimizing downtime and streamline processes where needed. • Provide leadership to plan, schedule and organize all staff manufacturing. • Accountable for profitability of the plant. • Maintain good safety standards for the plant.
Requirements
• Bilingual candidate highly preferred • 10+ years of experience in plant operations including materials management • 3+ years of plant management over operations of a plant • Experience in a high volume automated plant is preferred • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Materials Management • MBA is preferred, Six Sigma or Lean Process experience preferred • Must be onsite everyday in Conroe, Texas
