We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to lead the effective management of our factory ensuring smooth operations and optimized technical and financial results while upholding environmental standards and employee health and safety.
Your role will encompass:
• Overall Plant Management Plan coordinate and oversee all plant operations to meet production targets while optimizing capacity and achieving productivity and profitability goals. • Planning & Execution Contribute to the companys annual and long-term business plans ensuring successful implementation within the plant. Prepare and monitor the plants budget intervening as needed to meet cost and productivity targets. Approve and align departmental action plans with overall plant objectives. Report regularly to management on operational progress and challenges.
• Problem Solving & Risk Management Identify coordinate and resolve operational issues promptly safeguarding the company against technological financial and production risks. Recommend and support new projects and investments to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
• Customer Relations Manage customer complaints and product quality issues coordinating corrective actions to resolve root causes.
• Policies & Compliance Define and enforce plant policies aligned with company standards and legislation. Oversee compliance with environmental health and safety regulations.
• Leadership & Team Development Inspire and guide direct reports by communicating company vision values and goals. Support management teams in daily operations evaluations and professional growth. Foster a positive work environment that ensures continuous operation and minimizes risks.
• Authority & Governance Exercise delegated authority for decisions orders and procurement within company guidelines. Ensure effective organizational structure staffing and human resource management. Maintain positive relations with local community stakeholders and represent the company accordingly.
What you bring to the role
Engineering degree from a Polytechnic School. Postgraduate specialization preferred. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience including 4 years in a managerial role. Experience in metal fabrication and processing sectors. Fluency in English.
