Plant Maintenance MechanicRio Rancho, NM 87124 Pay: $21/hr.Schedule: Full-time Summary:Maintenance Mechanic supporting water/wastewater treatment equipment. Responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment installation on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and plant equipment Replace bearings, chains, and mechanical components Install/remove machinery and equipment Operate hoists, lifts, and maintenance tools Support emergency generators and backup systems Perform basic plumbing & pipefitting Assist with maintenance records & CMMS systems General upkeep (painting, cleaning, equipment care) Qualifications: Experience with mechanical maintenance, pumps, motors, or industrial equipment Knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems Ability to learn CMMS / maintenance software Familiarity with combustion engines & electric motors Understanding of safety procedures Preferred: Trade school or hands-on experience (mechanical/electrical/fabrication) Experience in water or wastewater systemsG
