A day in the life in Georgetown, KY 40324
On third shift, you are the steady hand that keeps our facility’s electrical backbone healthy and reliable. From proactive inspections to fast, safe responses when alarms go off, you help production run smoothly while safeguarding people and equipment.
What you’ll tackle
- Carry out planned maintenance and corrective repairs on plant electrical equipment and distribution systems.
- Diagnose faults, trace root causes, and implement durable fixes to restore operation quickly.
- Complete safety and compliance inspections aligned with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Work side by side with fellow maintenance team members to schedule repairs and execute upgrades without disrupting operations.
- Record every service action, part used, and result to maintain accurate maintenance histories.
- Assist with installing new electrical infrastructure, machines, and related controls.
- Respond promptly to outages and electrical emergencies, stabilizing systems and preventing recurrence.
- Invest in your craft by participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or a closely related role.
- Strong command of electrical systems, circuits, and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Sharp troubleshooting ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communicator who collaborates well within a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and on-call rotations.
- Valid electrician’s license/certification is a plus.
