Are you the leader who can keep people safe, product perfect, and lines running?

If you thrive on coaching a crew, solving equipment problems in the moment, and turning data into better outcomes, this role is for you. You’ll be the steady hand on the plant floor—protecting people, elevating quality, and maximizing throughput—while growing a team that can think and act independently.

How you’ll make an impact

  1. Set the tone for safety: Drive safe practices, participate in the Safety Committee, and ensure equipment and people are protected at all times.
  2. Deliver top-tier quality: Watch the details—visual and dimensional checks, CVP surveillance—and collaborate with Quality so information powers action.
  3. Hit production targets: Build daily plans, assign work, and keep lines running at the right speeds and efficiencies with tight reporting (production, HFI, downtime, MRO/parts inventory).
  4. Grow people: Assess, train, mentor, and when needed, administer discipline. Handle scheduling, attendance, policy, and documentation.
  5. Improve relentlessly: Lead LSS teams and champion 5S, TPM, SMED, and 8D; remove waste and lower costs while modeling Ardagh Core Values.
  6. Own compliance: Ensure Food Safety, GMPs, and HAACP Principle/Food Safety Standard and Application are fully met.
  7. Keep assets healthy: Troubleshoot equipment, schedule PMs/repairs, execute overhauls, and support new installations; provide relief for Mechanical Team Members as needed.
