Overview
The Plant Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the Plant Operations staff to ensure that the overall maintenance of the equipment is effective, efficient, safe and to Client standards. The Manager is responsible for the upkeep of the central plant chillers, heating boilers, domestic hot water boilers, cooling towers, roof-top AHU’s, and related equipment. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the natural gas systems, domestic water system, HVAC system, food service equipment, and oversight of maintenance contracts/agreements. Candidate must have experience with Boilers, Chillers, Air Compressor Systems. This is at the Gulfstream facilities which is about 6.5m million square feet across multiple sites.
Compensation: $75-90k annual
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

Essential Functions
· Provide feedback, train and develop Plant Operations team members.
· Ensure department objectives, standards and guidelines adhere to company goals and values.
· Maintain, through supervision and direct observation, a continuous awareness of all operational areas.
· Assist in sub-contractor service negotiations and follow up on contracted work to ensure timely completion and fulfillment of company expectations.
· Manage routine and preventative maintenance programs, cleaning and inspection of equipment and other Plant Operations components.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations, as well as state, local, and federal ordinances.
· Manage work order tickets and coordinate work orders and projects with other departments so as to respond immediately and appropriately.
· Provide direction and guidance to personnel in the correct procedures to repair equipment and materials used to complete required maintenance.
· Improve key maintenance parameters such as maintenance cost, PM and schedule compliance to reduce operating costs.
· Be an active participant in the site safety program, to include LOTO employee audits, PIV training and respirator fit testing.
· Facilitate and manage daily operations rounds as required.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements
· High School Diploma / GED
· Minimum of Seven years’ experience in the repair and maintenance of a production facility and its related equipment, to include central plant operations.
· Minimum of two years' experience in managing 10 or more employees in a large facility
· Must be authorized to work in the US.
Computer Skills
· Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Basic skills in Maximo and Maximo Mobile software
· Basic Metasys skills
Communication Skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
