You arrive at 3pm, review CMMS-generated priorities, and jump into a conveyor issue. A quick test with precision gauges isolates a pneumatic regulator. You weld a simple bracket to prevent vibration, verify hydraulic pressures, and bring the line back up safely. Before 1am, you’ve commissioned a new machine to spec and logged data that will prevent tomorrow’s downtime.

Role highlights

• Repair and maintain industrial machinery using hand/power tools and precision measuring/testing equipment per diagrams, manuals, and OEM specifications
• Troubleshoot motors, advanced hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, and production/conveyor equipment
• Perform welding to support safe, lasting repairs
• Prepare new equipment for production following defined protocols
• Conduct safety and efficiency tests on machinery
• Collect and analyze performance data to recommend actions that reduce machine downtime
• Create and manage work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Apply expert-level understanding of production machines and processes

Where, when, and compensation

• On-site: Ripon, WI
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1am
• Hourly Rate: $35.38 - $38.18, commensurate with experience and qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed

• Two-year Associate degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to use a computer to source parts and document work in a CMMS

Physical and screening notes

• Comfort with long periods of standing, and tasks involving sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, and bending
• Pre-employment physical, including a baseline lift requirement of at least 50 pounds
