In this role, you will partner with the Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance Technician to raise reliability standards, shorten recovery times, and share your craft with the next generation of mechanics.

Your mission

Own the health of critical assets through disciplined preventive maintenance, precise troubleshooting, and complete documentation. When the unexpected happens, you respond safely and decisively, drawing on technical references and collaboration to restore flow.

Impact areas

• Prevent: Execute PMs on production equipment to stabilize performance and extend lifespan.
• Diagnose: Investigate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power‑transmission faults to root cause.
• Restore: Tackle breakdown repairs, perform changeovers, and complete benchwork—rebuild, clean, verify function.
• Reference: Use technical manuals, specifications, shop drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare: Complete seasonal maintenance and facility checks, including during non‑standard hours when needed.

Operate with safety and quality

• Uphold safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Operate pallet jacks, lift trucks, jib/gantry cranes, and man lifts confidently and safely.
• Use hand/power tools properly; keep the work area orderly and safe.
• Complete inspections, documentation, and in‑process quality checks.

Lead through collaboration

• Communicate equipment status with the Maintenance Manager, Senior Maintenance Technician, production teams, and the Shift Manager.
• Train and support junior mechanics to elevate team capability.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production to meet daily priorities and project goals.

Improve every day

• Apply 5S and basic LEAN tools to optimize safety, quality, and throughput.
• Advance sustainability by reducing energy use and waste.
• Maintain detailed after‑action reports, procedures, and maintenance records.
• Restock parts, tools, and consumables proactively.

Facilities support

• Assist with painting, drywall work, and minor plumbing repairs as needed.

What sets you up for success

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance or related industrial mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of lasers, press brakes, thermoforming, and robotics (preferred, not required).
• Advanced troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical domains.
• Ability to interpret schematics/wiring diagrams and use a DMM.
• Math fluency with fractions and decimals.
• Comfort navigating digital documents, instructions, and forms.
• Adaptable, proactive, and an effective verbal communicator.

Physical & schedule expectations

• Stand/walk up to 90% of the shift.
• Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach; lift 50 lbs.
• Work at floor level, elevated areas, and within confined spaces.
• Experience manufacturing noise, temperature swings, and periodic outdoor conditions.
• May work any shift; regular overtime, including weekends, is expected.
