The Opportunity

A multibillion-dollar food manufacturing leader is looking for a Plant Engineering Manager to own the technical vision and engineering strategy at one of their key facilities. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you'll sit on the senior leadership team and drive capital project execution, systems improvement, and operational excellence across the plant. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence over plant performance and a clear path to advancement.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • $100,000 – $135,000 base salary plus 10% bonus opportunity
  • 9% 401(k) match and strong benefits package
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Fast-track career advancement within a large, established organization
  • Strategic seat at the table with direct exposure to corporate engineering leadership

Your Day-to-Day

  • Lead the development and execution of plant technical strategies across engineering capital projects, utility systems, and operational improvements
  • Manage the plant capital plan in partnership with Corporate Engineering
  • Drive vertical startup processes that support low-loss production systems
  • Oversee critical utility systems — including wastewater and ammonia — in support of safety, quality, sanitation, cost, and service goals
  • Solve complex technical challenges and deliver measurable improvements to overall plant performance
  • Shape the plant's long-term engineering direction as a key member of senior leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment — food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or chemical
  • Demonstrated capital project management experience; utilities, wastewater, and/or ammonia systems experience required
