Plant Engineer

Plant Engineer As a Plant Engineer, you will lead technical support for manufacturing processes, batches, and equipment (including boilers). You will manage and optimize production documentation and SOPs, lead the Mechanical Integrity Program, participate in Pre‑Start Up Safety Reviews, and support the Process Safety Management Program, RC14001, and CFATS compliance. You will also initiate and manage capital projects, support quality investigations, and assist in the introduction of new products, raw materials, and processes. Your role will involve conducting and coordinating site training, emergency response planning, safety audits, and maintaining P&IDs and the Management of Change Program. You will support the Plant Manager and Production Planning and Warehouse functions as needed.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.5+ years of manufacturing experience.Experience managing capital projects and leading process improvement initiatives.Experience managing multiple projects and overlapping priorities.Working knowledge of environmental, health, safety, and process safety regulations.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a chemical plant.Welding experience and certifications.Any additional accreditation or certification for project management, OSHA, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.Knowledge of RC 14001, Process Safety Management systems, and CFATS.Familiarity with OSHA regulations including Lock Out Tag Out, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry.Experience with ASME/NBIC code welding, boiler and pressure vessel repair, or AWS/CWI weld inspection.Experience with air‑operated diaphragm, centrifugal, positive displacement, and other pumps.Experience with mechanical seals and seal pots for rotating equipment.Experience with reactors, storage tanks, agitators, and materials handling equipment.Experience operating or maintaining boilers, chillers, compressors, and water purification systems.Experience with predictive maintenance (ultrasound, IR thermography, oil analysis, or vibration).Experience with SAP software.Experience with basic electrical/electronic controls and instrumentation.Work Environment Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.Must be medically certified to wear a negative‑pressure respirator and other PPE as required.Will be subjected to extended periods of climbing ladders and stairways, sitting, kneeling, walking, standing, bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, moving, and lifting up to 55 pounds.Benefits Competitive salary with performance‑based bonus plans.401(k) match and Age‑Weighted Defined Contribution.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Health Savings Account (HSA).Paid holidays, vacation, and parental leave.Flexible work environment.Learning and development opportunities.Career and professional growth.Inclusive culture and vibrant community engagement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
