With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts.Position OverviewThe Plant Accountant is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions including month end processes, preparing financial reports, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable.Duties And ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Accountant responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts documenting business transactionsPrepares GL Account and Bank ReconciliationPrepares financial statements and other reports to summarize the company's financial position.Maintains Accounting Policy databaseIdentifies control gaps, develops and implements appropriate control procedures to resolve control deficienciesAssists in preparation for internal and external auditsDevelop financial analysis and cost accounting skillsOversees payroll and AP functionsPerforms other job-related duties as required or assignedQualificationsIn addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or financeSolid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAPProven track record of working in a team environment with a variety of departmentsExperience working with an ERP systemThree (3) years Plant Manufacturing experienceApproximately 10% overnight travelMay occasionally need to work evening or weekend hoursCompensation: $110,000 per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
