This position provides the public with information assistance on planning matters such as zoning, annexation, site plans, subdivision, signs, and conditional uses. This position also conducts field studies and surveys to collect original research data for planning projects, gathers and analyzes statistical data regarding planning, acts as a technical assistant to various boards and commissions, designs and drafts graphs, charts, maps, photographs and other illustrative material, and directs and participates in field investigations of applications for variances of the zoning ordinance.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range:
The full salary range is as follows, please note hiring will normally occur at the Minimum of the range and will not exceed the Midpoint of the range:
a. Minimum - $61,838/yr.
b. Midpoint - $74,206/yr.
c. Maximum - $$86,574/yr.

The City participates in the Utah Public Retirement System (pension). In addition, the City does not participate in Social Security, so no Social Security taxes are deducted from your paycheck. In lieu of the City's Social Security contributions, the City contributes 6.2% of salary into a 401 (k) retirement plan.
Leave time benefits include 120 hours of paid time off (PTO) accrued annually, 40 hours of short -term medical accrued annually, and 11 holidays annually.

Office Hours:7 am-6 pm M-Th and 8 am-5 pm Fridays
