This Planner/Coordinator position supports transmission planning. Preference will be shown for candidates with a minimum of two years' utility work experience such as a state certified electrician, power generation electrician or mechanic, millwright or experience in a similar journey or career level occupation providing comparable knowledge of transmission & distribution.
Planner Coordinator I
Overview
This role contributes to planning and scheduling processes within the Planner Coordinator job family. Employees in this role contribute to the development of field crew work procedures and/or related asset and equipment documentation used by others to plan, execute, and maintain District assets and systems over the full life cycle of the asset. Maintain accurate and complete asset records and contribute to development of project work schedules. Coordinate with subject matter experts including craft workers, vendors, contractors, engineers, biologists, etc. to develop job plans and preventative maintenance plans for low complexity District assets. Monitor work or project plan accuracy. Facilitate workforce and/or contractor coordination, scheduling, and implementation of preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Assist with resource estimation and acquisition.
